College Financing 101

Join us on Saturday, April 28, Financial Aid Administrator Joe Roberto, with over 38 years of experience, will speak about financial programs available for college bound students.  This informative program will provide details on federal, state and university financial aid opportunities for college.  Be prepared and get a step up on the forms you need, scholarships and loans that are available to plan the financing of college. Incoming college freshmen who are thinking of which college is offering better financial aid packaging, as well as juniors and seniors in high school planning ahead and their parents are all welcome to attend. Joe has been working with Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) and the New Jersey Association of Student Financial Aid  Administrators (NJASFAA) Speaker’s Bureau for many years. The program will be held from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm in the Bernards Township Library Program Room B located on the lower level.  Parents and students are welcome for this free program. 
Bagels and coffee will be served!

Anime Club will be meeting next on April 4 from 7:00-8:30!  We just got a bunch of new anime DVDs that the club requested and we'll be breaking in our new Black Butler DVD this time starting with episode 1.  Come join us!

Teen Tech Week 2012!

It's Teen Tech Week and we're hosting a QR Code Scavenger Hunt!  Starting March 4, you can stop in any time to complete the hunt and enter to win a

$25 Amazon.com gift card!

  • What you need: headphones and a device that can scan QR codes (you can borrow one of our iPads from the circulation desk with a student ID)

  • If you are using your own device, you will need a QR app.  If you don’t have one, we recommend the app “Scan” for Apple devices or “Barcode Scanner” for Android devices.

  • At the last location of the scavenger hunt you will receive a “secret code”. Come to the reference desk with that code and you will be entered to win a $25 Amazon gift card!
